Free Agency will begin in the next couple days. The rules are as follows. I have made a subthread for each team under the free agency board. Each team is required to make a thread for each player on their team that is a free agent. Capgeek is what we will be using to get our cap numbers and our current player contracts. If a player's contract is expired according to capgeek and you have not resigned him or traded his rights you are required to make a thread for that player. Bids for players will be made in that players thread. The best offer is what the player will sign. Most money and years are what we are going by in this game. Players wanting to play close to home or wanting to go to a winning team will be too hard to manage. We will develop a system to determine best offer. In each players thread you are to list name, position, and whether he is restricted or unrestricted. I have made the Blues free agency threads already. You may use those as examples.

Free Agency will start noon CT Wendsday. Teams will make offers to their own RFAs. If they do not make an offer to that player they become a UFA. UFA signing will begin noon CT Friday.
Change, UFA signing will begin noon Friday instead of Thursday.

If a team does not have their free agent threads up by noon CT Wednsday, the team's RFAs will automatically recieve no offer and become a UFA. If the list is not up by midnight Wednsday night/Thursday morning, the team will forfit their third round pick as penalty. If they do not have their third round pick, they will lose their second round pick. We need to get this league moving. GMs have been waiting for free agency for a while now and now that it has come few GMs are doing anything that has been asked. I thank the GMs that have gotten their lists done.

Teams may now sign their own RFAs. Teams that did not post their free agents, lose all RFAs to unrestricted free agency.

The second free agency signing period will begin soon. I will take the players who have signed off the market by tomorrow so we can get this period going.

All free agents will be UFAs that are unsigned and listed in the free agency forum. Please do not offer more contracts than you can honor. This free agency period will last three days. I do not have a start time yet because I need to take signed players off the market.
