1st of all im fine with this. There have to be lopsided trades. It happens in real life and in fantasy pools/leagues like this. and why the hell would you make a thread for this? this should just be comissioners and comissioners only. You cant just go around saying oh since i feel this team does a bit better in this trade compared to the other so we need to vetoe this ! lol thats not how it should or does work...

I think if re worked a little than it's perfectly fine but as it stands it seems too lopsided but hey i'm only one of the 5 people who get to vote and when get around to voting if it gets that far i may have changed my mind

how is it "lopsided" ? Brad Richards: 29 year old forward 91 points in 80 games unless you feel Dallas gets ripped off (which they dont) then what are you talking about???

I am amazed that majority of the gm's or people in charge are saying that this is unfair, but yet they don't explain themselves to why they feel it is unfair.
Is everyone overrating Voracek and Filitov along with a pick that hasn't even been made?
Is everyone underrating Benn (who put up the same amount of points that Voracek did in Voracek's rookie season), but yet is been thrown around in this league that he is unproven and Voracek is the 2nd coming?
I might add that Richards has matched his career high in points this past season so it seems to me that he isn't a fly by night center who will disappear like some centers in the NHL.
All I want to hear people's reasoning to why this trade is so unfair.
I believe people are overrating prospects (Filitov and a 1st)

COMPLETELY FAIR. This is a mock league. As long as noone is trying to wreck their team most deals should be fine. A gm can shape their team the way they want. Thats the point of this. So have fun, and loosen the F up, before you'll have no more deals to criticize or gms to control

It's a lot to be giving up either way, Richards is an elite center that will put up lots of points next to Nash, but I really don't have much bad to say about this deal. It's good for both sides honestly, but the point of this league it to have some shake-up of the lineups. We have extra available cap which makes movement easier, I think it's a fine trade to shake up the lineups, and we now have a fair advantage.

I'll vote to pass this trade. Really, it's not like we've got a Nash type player going away here. The fact that Filatov is in the KHL and may not return lowers the lopsidedness of things. I feel that maybe Dallas should include a pick (conditional 1st round pick next year) to balance the trade in case Filatov does return. Better???

Blockbuster trades happen. They are just usually more balanced then the ones that have been happening lately. I've received blockbuster offers, but the GMs making the offers weren't prepared to give up what was necessary to make the trade balanced. And then there are some GMs willing to give up a lot for who knows what reason. The point is even if they are a bit lopsided, one of these trades is ok, but if a team starts to have a 1st line that looks like Stamkos- Nash- Malkin (and they only gave up mid level guys to get them) its a different story.

Sorry. the other gm's ok'd it. WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO BUILD OUR TEAMS THE WAY WE WANT. I got those players i made the deals to get them. If they all went seperate places it wouldnt be a big deal but somehow i got them all. Isnt the goal of this to build the best team? Whatever im over it, but we have to let the trades happen. If you want to trade your best player and rebuild go aheaddd thats the FUN of it. Yes i said fun.

It is quite easy to say such and such trade is unfair or fair, but to give a reason why it is that way says a lot. So why is this trade so unfair to you Sens?

Why isn't it to you? I would have asked for that conditional 1st.
