bryan little for P-M Bouchard 1st in 2011 was 3rd in 2011 wiercoch Leino winchesster
we now have our #1 centre and this continues to help our depth, bryan is a great young centre who will make an immediate impact on this team. it was hard to trade away a 1st leino and wiercoch but Little will be a big difference make for us so we feel it's worth it

Fine, I will. Seriously, I would MAYBE do PMB + 1st. To throw in Leino makes it lopsided, to throw in a blue chipper like Wiercioch is absolute demolishment. If this doesn't get vetoed...

Vetoing this trade has been brought up so we will vote to see who wants to veto it. I think if Ottawa wants to do this trade it is their problem. Teams can build their teams the way they want. I think this trade is extremely lopsided, but I vote to keep the trade. Either put veto or no veto in this thread and you can give a reason for your thoughts.

I vote veto. It's one thing to allow a team to screw themselves over, another entirely to allow another team to benefit from it. If the Nashville trades where he got rid of Suter and Weber were vetoed, this one should be too. The return is nowhere near acceptable for so many talented players.
Just my $0.02.

I agree that teams should be able to do as they please, but not when trades are this lopsided.
I vote Veto as well. Sorry guys.

just to point out this isn't any where near as bad as the dallas columbus trade at the start that was allowed, i have plenty of depth in the AHL and have a few d prospects that are quite good, the price was gonna be high to get a #1 centre so it was this or roll with two guys that are better suited for the 2nd line. i'll take my chances with a player that was top ten pick, still has lots of potential and has put up a fair amount of points on a bottom ten team every year he's played with them

Can't change that now. This trade, we can still do something about. If the trade was for an elite #1C, I could see this trade making some sense. The fact it was for Little makes me completely baffled. Little is BARELY a #1C in ATLANTA. I don't see how he qualifies as a #1 centre anywhere else in the League, except possibly Toronto. Depth is nice, sure, but you're trading away a 1st-round pick, a former 8th overall pick, a 2nd round stud d-man, a solid second liner (Leino), a 3rd and a plugger for a questionable #1C. This trade just reeks to me. And believe me, if I was around I'd have voted to veto the DAL-CLB trade too.

the dallas columbus trade was more directed towards the blues and 'hawks because they both aproved that trade
it's hard for young players to develop when management just keeps trading away it's better players that's what little has had to go through. when hossa and kovy's are dealt it means any good players that little had been playing with at the second line level were moved up. he couldn't prove himself to be a first line centre without good players to play with.

Trade is vetoed, the teams will need to work something new out if they want this trade. Final count: Veto 3 No Veto 1
