capsfan didn't even give anyone a chance to sign Forsberg, yet I lose Zherdev after first being the only one to offer him a contract?
I also offered Cervenka a contract, but he didn't even give me a chance to top the highest offer.
This is a flawed system.

I think ity should be done so all offers are the forum. Open for everyone to see the bidding.

You sent me ONE PM stating that you had a better offer for Cervenka.
You did not give me a deadline to match.
Not to mention the Backstrom contract. There is no way he's going to sign for that cheap.

i find more success with dealing with other gm's then signing ridiculous priced free agents

I agree there has to be some kind of change. Forsberg and jagr were signed before i even knew we could sign players from Europe. Maybe we should reset the European free agency and put a 24 hour window on signings.

So I start this thread to offer a player, who hasn't been offered a contract. Once the offer is made everyone has 48 hours to make a offer. 48 hours from the last offer is when the player decideds via a mod who is not invovled.
